Abstract:The development of e-government is an important measure for China to adapt to the trend of the digital era，seize development opportunities，and actively respond to challenges. In recent years，China has made remarkable progress in e-government development through policy documents，comprehensive planning，and other means，including improving institutional rules，improving public services，constructing data systems，enhancing governance capabilities，and strengthening support and guarantees. However，against the backdrop of rapid information technology development，accelerated digital transformation，and continuous government reforms，prominent issues such as inadequate coordination capacity，weak proactive awareness，low construction efficiency，and talent shortage have also emerged. It is urgently needed to utilize new technological means，fully mobilize social forces，reshape the e-governance system and governance models in the digital era，and continuously enhance the “sense of gain” of the people.
