新文科实验室建设中亟待解决的问题

Abstract:Currently，with the advancement of digitization，establishing new liberal arts laboratories has become a crucial step for social science research to transition into the “Fourth Paradigm”. However，due to limitations in funding and technological barriers，the construction of these new liberal arts laboratories faces key challenges. These challenges include ensuring a stable supply of large-scale data and enhancing the computability of multimodal data. The former issue primarily aims to address the lack of data and the difficulty in effectively accessing data in liberal arts big data research. The latter problem focuses on enabling non-programmers to perform large-scale data computations and determining who will provide the necessary computational support. Therefore，only by effectively addressing these two critical issues can the construction of new liberal arts laboratories genuinely contribute to the advancement of data-intensive scientific research and intelligent analysis in the liberal arts，thus embracing the “Fourth Paradigm”.
