日军对华南地区兵要地志的调查研究（1937～1945）

Abstract:South China is adjacent to East and Central China in the north，and joins Southeast Asia in the south，with developed economy and extremely important strategic position. Therefore，it became a key area of attack by the Japanese Army during the Counter-Japanese War. In South China，in order to coordinate with the military offensive，resource plunder and colonial rule，the Japanese troops at all levels made extensive surveys on military geography，mineral resources and civil conditions through filed and literature investigation. These investigations not only provided information support for the Japanese invasion of South China and its neighboring provinces，but also affected the important decisions of the Japanese government to a certain extent.
