历史视角下缅甸罗兴亚人问题探析

Abstract:This paper discusses the long-standing Rohingya problem in Burmese society and argues that the crisis has its roots in the British colonial era. After Burma’s independence，the Rohingya problem has been exacerbated by the gradual marginalization of the Rohingya as an ethnic minority，their exclusion from the political system，and their eventual denial of citizenship，effectively rendering them stateless. This paper takes a historiographical approach to the emergence，development，and evolution of the Rohingya problem from the perspective of Myanmar’s ethnic construction. In light of these historical factors that have shaped and exacerbated the crisis，the historical roots and modern expressions of the Rohingya problem are re-examined.
