Abstract:This report is based on the CD production function and uses business survey data from integrated industrialization-ICT service platforms as well as basic statistics from the input-output tables over the previous years. It estimates the level of digital transformation among Chinese enterprises，and makes analysis on the practices of leading industries and enterprises in digital transformation. According to the estimates，in 2021，the contribution of digital transformation of Chinese enterprises to economic output was raised at a faster pace，the imbalance in contribution among the three major industries was slowly weakened，and the gap in contribution from manufacturing segments was expanded. As for leading industries in digital transformation，more than half of the credits should be given to high-level promotion and strategic deployment，the adoption of industrial robots was doubled，the proportion of collaboration among networked products accounted for about 20% and the coordinated approach to digital and green development had a long way to go. As next steps，we should promote digital transformation at greater depth，foster digitization across the whole industrial chain，facilitate coordinated approaches to digital and green development，and create enabling ecosystem for digital transformation.
