Abstract:In recent years，the global public security crisis caused by biological factors has repeatedly attracted the attention of the international community. Bio-safety threats can transcend the limitations of national and regional administrative divisions and become an increasing factor endangering human health，life and property safety all over the world. The SCO member states cover a wide area with a large population and a complex geographical environment. Some member states participate in frequent international interactions in the field of bio-safety. Building a bio-safety system is not only a common aspiration of member states to protect bio-safety at their borders，but also an important way for the SCO to participate in global governance. China has always advocated to uphold the value orientation of building a community with a shared future for mankind and promote China’s in-depth participation in the international co-governance of bio-safety abroad. The SCO is conducive to member states’ participation in international cooperation on bio-safety and an important platform for International cooperation to help China advance the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
