Abstract:The years 2021-2022 are the last two years of Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte’s term. In addition，the interaction of risk factors such as the Covid-19 epidemic and climate change has created complex uncertainties for the transformation of sustainable development and social modernization in the Philippines，resulting in significant differences in social development areas such as healthcare，education，poverty alleviation，food，climate，gender，and infrastructure，and an overall wave-like progression in the Philippines. While there are many bright spots in Philippine social development，there are also significant challenges. The next administration still needs to work on how to trigger multi-dimensional governance，promote gender-class-generational equity，and effectively improve people’s livelihoods.
