Abstract:After being severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic，the cultural sector in Romania started to recover in 2021. The Ministry of Culture of Romania adopted a set of policies to reactivate cultural events and exchanges，including enhancing the preservation and education of cultural heritage，encouraging creativity in the cultural sector，preserving and promoting minority cultures，and enhancing the cultural management system. In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic，Romania has held a range of cultural activities，both offline and online，fostering international exchanges and cooperation with other countries as well as improving the accessibility of cultural resources across the country. In the future，Romania will continue to support the preservation of cultural heritage and inspire cultural creativity based on the reform and improvement of cultural management institutions，to increase the economic and social value of the cultural sector and steadily broaden Romanian culture’s global influence.
