清乾嘉学者对《姚懿神道碑》的解读与探索

Abstract:This paper discusses the interpretation and description of Yao Yi tombstone epitaph set up in Wentang village，Daying Town，Shanxian county，Sanmenxia City，and have some thoughts about this tablet. Firstly，this paper have discussed on ancient Chinese epigraphy and the development process of it and points out the contributions of Ouyang Xiu and Zhao Mingcheng of epigraphy as pioneer. Secondly，it expounds the reasons why the epigraphy of the Qing Dynasty stepped into a new stage of research，as well as the work done by many epigraphists of the Qianjia period on the interpretation and description of Yao Yi tombstone epitaph. Finally，the article talks about the reason why the tablet of Yao Yi tombstone epitaph attracted the attention of epigraphists of Qianjia school and the historical value of the tablet. To explore the long history of the development of the Yao family，more attention should be paid to the stone inscriptions such as the Yao Yi tombstone epitaph，in order to have a more in-depth study on the history of the prosperous Tang Dynasty and the Qing people’s love of stone inscriptions.
