进博会与上海国际贸易中心建设研究

Abstract:CIIE creates new opportunities for Shanghai to lift its construction as an international trade center to higher level. The report analyzes the current development of Shanghai as an international trade center，and reviews Shanghai’s role in gathering demand both at home and abroad and integrating resources in both domestic and foreign markets. Research based on input and output data shows，Shanghai’s output of industries like industrial manufacturing and logistics & storage strongly supports the final consumption and intermediate input in other parts of China，which is particularly true in the Yangtze River Delta and Yangtze River Economic Belt. Shanghai also plays a big role in the “Belt and Road” construction. Through its radiating effect，CIIE increases the vigor of foreign trade and the connection between domestic and foreign markets，and drives the development of producer services and the improvement of trade facilitation in Shanghai. In the future，CIIE shall focus more on the upgrade of trade functions，the popularization of regulatory measures，the expansion of hinterland and the consolidation of established results，so as to develop the long-term effect supporting the construction of Shanghai as an international trade center.
