Abstract:The interconnection rectification action launched by the Ministry of industry and information technology in 2021 is the most important governance action touching on the basic problems of the Internet since China officially connected to the Internet in 1994. However，the various difficulties and soft resistance encountered in the rectification action also truly show the difficulty and complexity of China’s Internet governance. Therefore，analyzing the road of China’s interconnection has important specimen and benchmark value for understanding China’s Internet and network governance，and has important enlightenment and reference for the process of governance modernization and digital governance facing the future. In 2022，the solution of interconnection problems will be further deepened，from link shielding to API level interconnection standards to data level operability mechanism. Cracking the problem of search engine “Walled Garden” is likely to become the most suitable and effective remediation direction in 2022.
