2021年马来西亚居家教学的挑战及其应对策略

Abstract:On 18th March 2020，Malaysia began to implement the Movement Control Order. All educational institutions were closed and home-based teaching and learning（PdPR）was introduced by the Ministry of Education in Malaysia. At the beginning of PdPR，schools，teachers，students，and parents faced various difficulties and challenges，such as insufficient equipment，poor network，low attendance，and moderate effectiveness. In 2021，the government actively solved related problems. By donating computers or mobile phones to students from B40 and M40 families，the equipment problem of B40 and M40 groups has been solved to a certain extent. Malaysia proposed the “National Digital Network（JENDELA）” plan to gradually improve the country’s network coverage and speed. Through the recruitment of a large number of contract teachers，the problem of long-term teacher shortage in primary and secondary schools has been alleviated. By enhancing the empowerment of teachers and opening a special education channel，the government provides students with more professional and rich online teaching materials，and gradually builds professional online education resources.
