Abstract:In 2021，“impact” and “adjustment” became the keywords for the cultural development of Malaysia. The political situation in Malaysia changed again，Muhyiddin Mohd Yassin stepped down and Ismail Sabri Yaakob took over as prime minister. The past year has seen repeated waves of COVID-19 pandemic，and the cultural industry has been hit hard. In this context，the Malaysia government has made great efforts to support the cultural industry，accelerated digital transformation，carried out online multicultural activities，and strengthened cultural exchanges with the outside world，especially with China. At he policy level，the introduction of the “2021 National Cultural Policy” has become a major event in cultural development throughout the year.
