Abstract:Since the 18th CPC National Congress，China has continuously promoted the construction of A Strong Maritime Country and made important progress in various fields of maritime affairs. From 2020 to 2021，the marine economy has been steadily improved at multiple levels. Coastal provinces and regions intensified their efforts to promote the high-quality development of the marine economy，and the investment in marine technological innovation and the development of marine emerging industries have increased. The overall marine ecological environment is stable and improving. Important marine ecological environment governance projects have achieved significant results. The quality of seawater and the protection of marine biodiversity are gradually improving. China has actively developed the Blue Partnership，deepened practical cooperation with coastal countries in non-traditional security fields. It also actively participated in practical cooperation in the Arctic and enhanced the ability to participate in the Antarctic conservation and utilization.
