2021年中国科技创新报告

Abstract:China climbed from 34th place in 2012 to 12th place in 2021 in the ranking of the Global Innovation Index. In the past three years，China has accelerated the implementation of innovation-driven development strategy，increased R&D investment，deepened the reform of scientific and technological system，and optimized the innovation ecosystem. A number of major achievements have been made. STI has provided strong support for economic development，social progress，improvement of people’s livelihood and national security，and made important contributions to China’s goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects. In the meantime，China will continue to integrate into the global innovation network，carry out cooperation in multiple directions with BRICS countries，and play its part in building a community with a shared future for mankind.
