Abstract:This report sorts out and analyzes the development history of the three dimensional agricultural issues and rural revitalization in post-war Japan，then concludes the implications of the Japanese experience for China’s rural revitalization. The report finds that three dimensional rural issues of Japan are mainly manifested in the aging of the rural population，reduction of the agricultural labor force，low food self-sufficiency rate，declining and abandoned arable land，and rural depopulation，etc.. After solving the problem of peasant poverty，Japan’s rural revitalization transformed exogenous development into endogenous development. After the 21st century，Japan’s rural revitalization has entered a mature stage of institutionalization. The new concepts and models such as One Village One Product，Garden City Initiative and Regional Revitalization proposed by Japan in the process of rural revitalization have all produced a widespread positive influence. Carrying out comprehensive cooperation between China and Japan in the field of rural revitalization，is of great significance to the development of the agricultural economies of both countries and the implementation of China’s rural revitalization strategy.
