Abstract:The COVID-19 pandemic had delivered a major shock to global economy and politics. Yet，The US-Australia alliance demonstrated strong resilience against this backdrop. The two countries continued to deepen their cooperation over political，security，economic，and public health affairs. While the US’s poor handling of the pandemic to some extent damaged its image on the part of Australian people，the alliance still secured a solid social foundation in both countries. Furthermore，the trend of networking the alliance with wider partnerships was intensified. With the Biden administration taking office in 2021，the bilateral relationship，though facing new adjustments in some issues such as environment policy in all likelihood，is expected to remain stable，and even develop further.
