2020年爱沙尼亚文化发展报告

Abstract:In 2020，Estonia introduced relief package in a timely manner to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on cultural sectors，and made the most of the Year of Digital Culture to facilitate acceleration of digital transformation in cultural heritage domain as well as in cultural and creative industries. Meanwhile，Estonia achieved fruitful results in cultural heritage and folk culture protection，made remarkable progress in social integration，and witnessed positive effects of the film production support scheme. With regards to international relations，Estonia strengthened its ties with Baltic and Finno-Ugric countries while deepened cooperation with neighbouring countries through European Territorial Cooperation （Interreg）. In addition，under the framework of “Belt and Road” Initiative and China-CEEC cooperation mechanism，high-level dialogues and cultural exchanges between China and Estonia became increasingly frequent. In the post-pandemic era，Estonia will attach greater importance to culture，which contributes to healing from pandemic-related trauma and building social consensus，and will seek to further increase its cultural influence on the international stage.
