Abstract:The outbreak，starting in Wuhan，China before the 2020 Spring Festival holiday and then spreading across the country until several months later when China resumed work and production nationwide，has become a pandemic in 114 countries across the world. The World Health Organization has declared it to be a global pandemic. As a vanguard in the fight against the epidemic，the Internet map responded quickly. At the different stages of the epidemic，it has provided regulators and the public with appropriate technology to contain the epidemic，ensured that people’ daily needs are met，and enabled accurate and efficient travel management. As a leader in the electronic mapping industry，Amap has，amid the outbreak，launched map of epidemic and real-time tracking of the virus，traffic monitoring and early warning system of epidemic prevention checkpoint，Beijing subway passenger flow inquiry，Wuhan medical bus public service，and real-time query of Wuhan hotel supermarket and fresh service station information. After the resumption of work and production，it launched search for and reservations of “safe stay at hotel”，and mapping of the “contactless Self-service restaurant” in more than 300 cities in China，ensuring that production and daily life go on smoothly with the Internet technology and thinking. As early as 2017，Amap launched public travel service “Easy-travel Platform”，to be followed by the “Aggregated Taxi-hailing Platform” it launched with dozens of ride-hailing partners. In August 2019，Amap launched its brand slogan “use Amap for your travel”，a mark that it is upgraded to a national integrated comprehensive travel service platform. The improvement of Amap reflects the progress in the entire mapping services industry.
