Abstract:As a non-state actor，Chinese private security companies will play an increasingly important role in protecting China’s overseas interests. This article analyzes the current situation of China’s overseas security industry. Overall，problems include the narrow scope of security services，insufficient information acquisition capabilities，low industry standardization，and imbalance in the development of three aspects of defense capabilities. It is recommended to strengthen China’s international security professional capacity building from four dimensions，including broadening the scope of overseas security servicers，improving the level of comprehensive overseas safety management，introducing the security management and Chinese investments to go out，and increasing the content of science and technology of security services. In that way，Chinese private security companies could provide better protection to China’s overseas interests.
