Abstract:After the 6-years development，BRI has entered a new era with quality development. China’s overseas national interest has expanded rapidly，with the main shareholders growing and protection focusing on countries along the BRI. Along with the comprehensive development of BRI，there are also challenges emerging，such as destructive responses from other big powers，risks caused by terrorism and increasing domestic turmoil along the BRI，and etc. In the future promotion of BRI，we should further collaborate and cooperate with other major countries，especially the U.S.，enhancing the mentality of third-market cooperation，intensifying risks management against terrorism，speeding up the establishment of overseas public security system and improving capacity-building. At the same time，it is very critical to maintain a favorable public opinion environment，and reinforce agenda-setting. on the global stage.
