Abstract:The United States of America has been actively developing emerging digital industries for many years，fostering the innovation capability of its digital enterprises and constructing global digital trade rules. In terms of domestic digital city construction，the United States has focused on top-level design and carried out a series of forward-looking practices in urban data opening，algorithm empowerment，IoT application，intelligent infrastructure construction，synergy of digitalization and greenization，etc.，among which New York City，Los Angeles，Dubuque，San Francisco and Boston are the most typical examples. The experiences of the United States provide references and lessons for Beijing to build a global benchmark city of digital economy.
