Abstract:2019 marks the centenary anniversary of the founding of the Communist International. In commemoration of its founding，an epoch-making event in international communist movements，communist parties across the world，on different occasions，and in various ways，cherish the memory of the experiences of the Communist International. Communist parties across the world generally believe that the birth of the Communist International is the logical outcome of the development of international communist movements at the beginning of twentieth century，particularly in the wake of the World War I. Throughout its lifetime of 24 years，the Communist International pushed forward the founding and growth of proletariat parties all over the world，laying the foundation for the triumph of socialism in certain countries after the World War II，and for the erection of a camp of socialism；strengthened the international solidarity and mutual assistance among working classes of different countries，under whose leadership，the massive working people engaged in heroic struggles against the exploitation by the capital，aggression by the imperialism，and authoritarian rule by the fascism，thus making an indelible contribution to the progress of mankind and world peace；The Communist International accelerated the national awakening of the suppressed peoples in colonies or dependent countries，making great contribution to the advancement of national liberation movements and independence in Asia，Africa and the Latin America. In the meantime，the communist parties of all countries are also reflecting attentively the successful or unsuccessful legacy left over by the Communist International，trying to rethink the reality in the light of history，and exploring possible ways to guide the present-day communist parties to an international unity.
