Abstract:In the development process of Tourism industry in Samoa，there are many problems，such as homogeneous tourism resources and imperfect supporting facilities，unreasonable hotel regional configuration and monotonous catering structure，low convenience of international air transportation and poor land transportation，single tourism source market development，lack of financial funds and tourism talents. These problems have seriously affected the vigorous development of the tourism industry in Samoa. With in-depth analysis of Samoa’s tourism development status and the root cause of its problems，this paper proposes some reasonable suggestions，which include deep excavating Samoa characteristic tourism resources，overall consideration to perfect supporting facilities，to coordinate the hotel grade distribution and rich diet structure，improve the transportation and improve the traffic access，actively explore Europe and east Asia international tourism source markets，seek international aid and international capital，establishing tourism professional education system，etc.
