Abstract:In recent years，National Project “Digital Economy” has been one of the priorities of Russian Federation. However，due to its late start，insufficient awareness on digitalization and pandemic restrictions，the process of realizing the project is not satisfying. In 2021，“Digital Economy” represents a stable trend with mild improvements. Sub-projects，including Artificial Intelligence，technology 5G and other new technologies，have raised attention and supplied with supporting measures from the higher level. This report analyzes data from 2018 to 2020 on four aspects，including：Domestic development of Digital Economy in Russia，Tendency of changes in ratings and indexes world wide，Current challenges and Future prospectives，aiming to demonstrate Russia’s achievements and prospectives of its digital economy.
