Abstract:This report conducts quantitative analysis of the top 100 Most valuable Global Brands in 2020 from multiple dimensions such as geographical distribution,industry distribution,ownership structure distribution,and selects typical companies for qualitative analysis and summary. Overall,the number of Chinese companies listed in 2020 has steadily increased compared with last year. From the perspective of geographical distribution,most of the shortlisted Chinese companies come from the eastern region,while Moutai is the only one in the western region. From the perspective of industry distribution,the shortlisted brands mainly come from four industries,namely,finance,wholesale and retail,manufacturing,and information transmission,software and information technology services;From the perspective of ownership structure,the largest number of shortlisted private companies,followed by state-owned enterprises,and Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan corporate sole proprietorship companies are not shortlisted. Combined with the specific cases of typical companies,the analysis concludes that:under the background of frequent sudden risks and increasingly fierce competition,Chinese companies should continue to adhere to the adjustment and upgrading of industrial structure,increase the support for the research and development of new technologies and new technologies,and devote themselves to building Chinese companies with international brand influence.
