新兴信息技术背景下日本个人信息保护立法进展研究及启示

Abstract:Under the background of the booming development of emerging information technology，countries around the world place increasing emphasis on the protection of personal information，while are actively developing and utilizing big data. Japan’s personal information protection legislation is compatible with Europe and the United States and has its own characteristics，which is worth our country’s reference. This article focuses on the latest developments of Japan’s personal information protection legislation from four aspects：the definition and scope of personal information，anonymous processing mechanism for personal information and the supervision and management mechanism of personal information protection. Finally，combining with the problems and shortcomings in the protection of personal information in our country，the article discusses the enlightenment for our country in strengthening the personal information protection.
