Abstract:The construction of China Africa Free Trade Area is not only China’s response to the transformation of the international order，but also meets the needs of China’s domestic economic transformation and upgrading and Africa’s economic development stage. It is an important fulcrum for China and Africa to jointly promote economic globalization in the post epidemic era. Compared with the rapid development of China Africa economic cooperation，the construction of China Africa Free Trade Area lags behind. The establishment of the African continental Free Trade Area，which covers 54 African countries and a population of 1.2 billion，has brought new opportunities and challenges to the construction of China Africa Free Trade Area. China should balance the construction of bilateral Free Trade Area between China and African sovereign countries and the construction of multilateral Free Trade Area between China and Africa，help Africa’s economic integration and jointly defend the multilateral trading system.
