Abstract:By analysis of market share，TCI and RCA of Gansu Province，the paper shows that since 2000，Gansu industrial competitiveness has an increasing trend，but the overall level is still low. The advantageous competitiveness mainly focuses on labor and resource-intensive products. Due to export restrictions on the neavy energy consumption，heavy pollution and resource-related products，in domestic market，oil，coal and gas，and other energy resources，non-ferrous metals industries are more competitive while in the international market，agricultural products，textile and garment industry are more competitive，and electrical and mechanical manufacturing industry has a potential competitiveness. Gansu deploys a series of policy measures such as special funds to support the agricultural products，agricultural products export base record system. Gansu is cultivating new growth pole of export by continuing to strengthen policy guidance and nurturing characteristics industrial clusters and making differentiated resources products tariff policies to solve the bottleneck of industrial development and enhance the industrial competitiveness of Gansu Province.
