Abstract:Face with the new round of strategic opportunity of economic globalization，there is great developing space to carry out the strategic industrial cooperation under “the Belt and Road” initiative between China and the UK，and it indicates the direction of cooperation in the emerging industries between the two countries. Some emerging industries from the UK，such as big data，high performance computing，aerospace，robotics，advanced materials，renewable energy，agricultural science，creative industry，synthetic biology and regenerative medicine are in the leading position in the world，thus forming a number of emerging industrial clusters with advantages and characteristics. The UK has already become an important trading partner for Henan in Europe. In recent years，Henan has vigorously fostered the strategic emerging industries and formed a number of industrial clusters with characteristics，but there are still some problems within its development，low-technology，low added value，lack of talent，and so on. Such problems can be solved through cooperation with the UK in the new industrial park and achieve leapfrog development. Therefore，the new industrial park is a priority area of cooperation between Henan and the UK. Henan should seize the strategic opportunity of the Belt and Road initiative，trying to strengthen the strategic cooperation in 18 directions of 7 emerging industries with the UK，and focus on promoting cooperation in the new industrial park with the UK. It is necessary to establish the stable cooperative relations，build cooperation platform，and to achieve priority breakthroughs in a number of areas. Following the logic and trend of growth of emerging industries and relying on the comprehensive advantages of Henan province，it is essential to innovate the cooperation mode of the industrial park，promote a number of key cooperation projects，establish a sound mechanism for cooperation and exchanges and jointly set up development fund for the emerging industries，thus the Sino-British cooperation in the emerging industries will be on the threshold of a new situation and the strategic emerging industries of Henan province will be developed in a healthy and sustainable way.
