Abstract:Russia is one of the “deep cooperation” countries under China’s “the Belt and Road” initiative. The economic and trade cooperation between China and Russia has a significant and far-reaching impact on the construction of the Belt and Road. Russia’s attitude towards “the Belt and Road” initiative has undergone the process of gradual change，from concern to support. China and Russia have made gratifying progress in policy communication，facilities connectivity，trade cooperation，capital financing and so on，but still face problems as geopolitical thinking，undeveloped infrastructure，single trade structure，stubborn investment barriers and lack of financial cooperation. Corresponding solutions are put forward to solve problems mentioned.
