中国与文莱的双边经贸合作

Abstract:As China’s coastal neighbor，on the one hand，Brunei government has made deep reforms in the aspects of law，finance，business environment and education，propelling the construction of infrastructure and the development of economic diversity to fulfill the “Vision 2035”；on the other hand，based on the China-ASEAN Exposition，the bilateral trade between China and Brunei has expanded quickly by Brunei so as to respond to “The Belt and Road” Initiative. In general，the interoperability cooperation between China and Brunei has currently made some progress，but there are still problems such as the insufficiency in the policy guidance，the stubborn trade slump，the slow progress of projects and the lack of education support and local educational talented persons. China and Brunei could improve the situations by constructing a flexible cooperation mechanism and making the best of the new mechanisms as well. The bilateral cooperation in economy and trade between China and Brunei will provide the reference for cooperation between China and other Islamic countries under “The Belt and Road” Initiative.
