Abstract:The outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic and the long-term game between China and the United States have not only impacted and changed the global industrial chain，but also brought new opportunities and challenges to China-Japan industrial chain cooperation. Facing the long-term development trend of Sino-US strategic game，Japan，which maintains close and extensive industrial chain ties with the United States and China，is also constantly adjusting its industrial chain layout and policies. After the epidemic，in a reconstructed global industrial chain network，whether it is for economic stimulus or expansion of the industrial chain，China and Japan need to deepen industrial chain cooperation. However，the restraint of American factors and the swing of Japan’s China policy have added uncertainties to Sino-Japanese industrial chain cooperation. China’s economy quickly stabilized after the epidemic，so Japan，which is suffering from an economic downturn，had to use the Chinese market to get out of the economic downturn. In the future，both the bilateral industrial chain cooperation between China and Japan or the industrial chain cooperation between China and Japan in third-party markets will enter a new period of development.
