2015年中国政治形象研究报告

Abstract:Political image is the core part of a country’s image. By analyzing data from the third wave global survey of China national image carried out by Center for International Communication Studies，China Foreign Language Publishing Administration，this paper finds that the international public have a certain recognition of China’s crucial governing idea in eight countries（America，Russia，Japan，Britain，Australia，India，Brazil，South Africa），and they approve of China’s development path largely. The image of China’s government mainly manifests as following three aspects：inaccessible，serious corruption and efficient governing capacity. International public has a very positive evaluation of China’s leader，Xi Jinping. This paper also finds out that the developing countries have a better impression of China’s government. The authors offer following recommendations to improve China’s political image：Firstly，make the most of new media to establish a populist image. Secondly，news report should be more objective and balancing，as well as enhance the humanistic concern. Lastly，adapt to every nation’s context，and to be a good “Chinese story” teller.
