Abstract:Guangzhou is a national central city in China and a core development engine of the city cluster in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area. Relying on the position of an international aviation hub，Guangzhou has strong support for the supply market，superior space for facilities planning，solid foundation of route network，strong maintenance and recomstruction ability，which form the outstanding advantages in the international air cargo development. In order to adapt to the need of industrial chain and supply chain upgrade，realize a higher level openning-up to lead the Greater Bay Area development，and speed up the construction of “capital of innovation”，Guangzhou needs to give full play with the existing advantages，grasp the strategic opportunities of the construction of the new development paradigm，and focus on the top design，facilities construction，policies innovation，network construction，industrial development，etc.，to improve the international air cargo capacity，so as to build itself into a strategic hub city for domestic and foreign circulations.
