Abstract:Latin American countries adjusted their foreign policies in 2007.The left-wing governments，particularly those of the radical left，made the U.S.-Latin American relations more uncertain.The Bush administration designed policies to improve its relations with Latin America.Latin American nations，including those under the leadership of the left，have exhibited rising willingness to strengthen regional cooperation.However，due to their different national interests and varied external strategies，Latin American countries have witnessed disputes and frictions among themselves，leading to fragmentation and a lack of progress in regional integration. The region continues to further develop relations with Europe，the Middle East，Asia-Pacific and Africa，particularly with such countries as Spain，Russia，Iran，India and China.
