Abstract:In 2018，art trade，as an important part of cultural trade，played a vital role in enhancing the international influence of Chinese culture. China’s auction market is in the stage of increasing quality and decreasing volume with a certain decline in transaction value. The total volume of China’s international trade in art has increased for the first time in five years，showing signs of recovery. At present，the secondary market accounts for the majority of the total. The structure of art categories has gradually improved，while the amount of foreign trade of art has increased. At the same time，some problems have emerged in the development of China’s art industry. The main problems are as follows：the negative impact of the high import tax rate of domestic art on the competitiveness of China’s art market，the lack of evaluation system and professional talents for the financialization of art，the imperfection of laws and regulations hindering the development of China’s art market，and the dislocation of the primary and secondary trading markets.
