Abstract:Since the establishment of the summit mechanism，the G20 has been paying close attention to the field of energy governance and playing an important role in global energy governance. At present，the coronavirus disease 2019 which has been raging around the world has seriously affected the global energy industry. The energy supply and demand are undergoing a significant adjustment，and energy infrastructure and energy policies are facing major changes. As the key to energy governance and environmental protection，new energy industry has become an important part of national development strategy. Affected by the black swan events，the new energy industry is facing both opportunities and challenges. This paper expounds the trend of energy governance and Reform in G20 countries，analyzes the opportunities and challenges of G20 new energy development，emphasizes the important role of strengthening the development and cooperation in new energy industry development，and puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the development of new energy industry.
