Abstract:The United States remains the largest economic power and one of the most important pioneers in the global digital economy. Today，it has continued to improve its strategic competitiveness in the digital economy，with a focus on digital innovation and digital transformation. In 2018，U.S. government released，for the first time，preliminary statistics and an accompanying report exploring the size and growth of the digital economy. As is known，the digital economy has been well-developed in the United States，with its large-scale Internet companies developing next generation information communications technologies technology，digital transformation and digital trade. Meanwhile，the US government has worked on negotiating new international rules to govern the U.S. trade practices，reducing barriers to U.S. exports，and protecting U.S. interests.
