Abstract:The soft power of urban culture is an important part of the city’s influence and competitiveness. Urban culture contains powerful forces that promote the overall economic vitality of the city，improve the quality of the urban living environment，and improve the level of sustainable development of the city. In the annual “World’s Best CITIES 2020” released by the Resonance Consultancy，London，New York，Paris and Tokyo ranked in the top Four. Cultural indicators are one of the main contents in the report evaluation system. This article combs the cultural development status of these four global cities. And analyzes the experience of cultural construction and development from the two dimensions of cultural policy support and cultural infrastructure.
