Abstract:Syria’s economic reconstruction in 2019 will be difficult，the Syrian government still faces challenges such as a divided economy，a serious lack of human resources，a shortage of funds for reconstruction and slow infrastructure construction. The Syrian government has taken some measures to stimulate economic development，such as fighting corruption，issuing national debt，actively promoting the development of the exhibition industry and attracting external investment. The economic growth rate of Syria in 2019 was slower than that in 2018，and the overall economic development was worrying. The Syrian pound has continued to depreciate，inflation，unemployment and poverty remain high，fiscal deficits remain high and foreign debt remains high. There is a serious lack of impetus for economic growth.
