Abstract:In 2019，the situation in Syria tends to be stable. The evolution of the game among great powers has turned to “the US’ retreat and Russia’s advance”，the political situation of “tripartite separatism” tends to be more favorable to the Syrian government；the Syrian Constitutional Committee was officially held，and the political reconciliation process started slowly. In terms of military affairs，the situation in the Syrian government controlled area has been stable，and the anti-government forces have been compressed to the northwest of Idlib Province，and the Kurds，under difficult circumstances，seek reconciliation with the Syrian government. Economically，the Syrian government has taken a number of measures to start economic reconstruction and stimulate economic growth，but the recovery is difficult，and opportunities and challenges of coexist on the whole. In terms of diplomacy，the Syrian government still has close relations with Russia and Iran，and gradually eases tension with Arab countries. While maintaining diplomatic independence，the Syrian government handles its relations with Arab countries carefully. However，the uncertainty of the situation still exists：whether the Syrian government can strengthen national identity and boost public confidence is the key to the re-integration and reconstruction of the nearly torn society in the civil war；the confrontation between the government forces and the anti-government forces may still lead to the resumption of war；the game between the United States and Russia and its relations with regional powers Turkey and Iran are directly related to the external environment of Syria；economic reconstruction faces severe challenges.
