2019年中国与太平洋岛国产能合作：机遇、挑战与对策

Abstract:In recent years，the economic，trade，and investment cooperation between China and Pacific island countries has shown a good development momentum，which has laid a solid foundation for their production capacity cooperation. The establishment and development of China-Pacific Island Countries Economic Development and Cooperation Forum and other cooperation mechanisms have also provided important support for the production capacity cooperation. At present，China and Pacific island countries face new opportunities in production capacity cooperation in infrastructure construction，development and utilization of renewable or clean energies，green agriculture and other industries，but some projects face challenges such as unsustainable host country debts，high construction and operating costs，and instable political environment. Therefore，both sides should tap the potential of cooperation in key areas，control the cost of cooperative projects and consolidate the political basis for production capacity cooperation，so as to ensure the orderly advancement of the production capacity cooperation projects.
