Abstract:The overall situation of Iran in 2018 is very difficult. The Trump administration suddenly withdrew from the Iranian nuclear agreement in May 2018 and imposed sanctions on it，which brought much negative effect on Iran’s domestic political and economy. The crisis challenged to the Rouhani government in 2018 is also the pressure of political conservatives and the crisis of people’s livelihood. In addition，the issue of the successor of Iran’s supreme leader is also a major issue concerning the direction of Iran’s national development and remains unresolved. How to bridge the differences between domestic political views and gain more international support is one of the key tasks of the Rohani government’s work in 2019. “Resistance economy” is an economic development strategy in Iran that overcomes external sanctions and difficulties，but it has certain drawbacks. The trend of U.S.-Iranian relations will be an important indicator of how the Iranian issue will evolve. The Iranian side will continue to face up various challenges.
