2019年美国“印太”战略与“亚太再平衡”战略的关系辨析

Abstract:The Obama administration and the Trump administration of the US have successively formulated the “Asia-Pacific rebalancing strategy” and the “Indo-Pacific Strategy” focusing China since the outbreak of the global financial crisis. Although the Trump administration denied many policies of the Obama administration and abandoned the name of its predecessor’s strategy in Asia，the two strategies are closely related. In the perspective of policy’s nature，both are regional grand strategies of the United States，while they have the characteristics of continuity and changes in terms of internal relations. As far as the current situations are concerned，China-US relations have entered the stage with the main feature of strategic competition. Although the United States still has a greater advantage in comprehensive strength，the trend of development in the two nations shows that time is on China’s side，and China needs to accelerate its own development while maintaining the China-US relations as stable as possible.
