2019年中国上市公司海外投资分析

Abstract:Foreign investment is an important part of “going global” strategy for Chinese enterprises. This report makes a quantitative analysis of overseas investment enterprises from five dimensions including investment mode，investment region，regional distribution，industry distribution and ownership structure，and then，we make a qualitative analysis and summary combining with typical enterprises. As a whole，the total amount of overseas investment of Chinese listed companies shows a slight contraction trend in 2019. Firstly，from the perspective of investment mode，foreign investment mode of listed companies mainly focuses on independent investment，M&A and capital increase. Secondly，from the perspective of investment regions，the investment areas still focus on developed countries. Thirdly，from the perspective of geographical distribution，the eastern coastal area is still an important source of foreign investment enterprises，while the foreign investment enterprises from the central and western regions have their overseas investment power. Fourthly，from the perspective of industry distribution，foreign investment is diversified and mainly concentrated in the fields of energy，electricity，construction and infrastructure. Fifthly，from the perspective of ownership structure，the overall strength of foreign investment of state-owned enterprises is stronger than that of private enterprises. Combined with the specific case analysis of typical enterprises，the report suggest that，in order to promote the overseas development of listed companies effectively，government and enterprises should not only actively build a multilateral cooperation mechanism to realize the diversification of overseas investment，but also pay attention to cultivate the core advantages of enterprises and enhance the competitiveness of overseas investment.
