Abstract:By combing through the methodologies used in traditional literary research by researchers such as Désiré Nisard，Charles Nisard，Ranke，and Treitschke，and reflecting on the limitations of them from contemporary perspectives，this paper introduces metrology as an independent research method into stylistics studies，thereby illustrating the unique significance of metrology in the era of big data computing.And to illustrate the value of stylometric in literary studies by enumerating the applied textual studies of the tools of stylometric（Stylo R）. Ultimately，big data calculations are used to generate Gephi-projections for text analysis，thereby demonstrating to the reader the utility and value of stylometric with excellent research results.
