2019年中国—马来西亚“两国双园”：稳步创新，形势向好

Abstract:“Two Countries，Twin Parks”，composed by China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park（CMQIP） and Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park（MCKIP），marks the flagship project of China-Malaysia investment cooperation and China-ASEAN cooperation demonstration zone. After eight years of construction and development，CMQIP has formed the industrial agglomeration in the fields of palm oil，bird nests，halal food，biomedicine，high-tech electronics，new energy etc.，which greatly benefits the development of bilateral economic and financial cooperation as well as the comprehensive strategic partnership. On 25th April 2019 after his meeting with Prime Minister of Malaysia，Mahathir Mohamad，President Xi Jinping put forward new positioning and requests to advance the building of “Two Countries，Twin Parks” cooperation，making it an important node of New Land-Sea Corridor and promoting connectivity and development between the two countries and among regions. Under the new circumstances when the National Alliance government is in power，China should play an active role，communicate with the new leadership of Malaysia，continue to implement the medium-and long-term plan of “Two Countries，Twin Parks”，and speed up the development and construction of two industrial parks.
