2019年马来西亚非物质文化遗产专题报告

Abstract:In 2019，Malaysia added one another world intangible cultural heritage，its traditional martial art Silat was enlisted in the “Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity”. Lead by Ministry of Tourism，Arts and Culture Malaysia，various departments actively carry out protection and publicity activities，build brands and expand influence to promote the dissemination and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage. Furthermore，after twenty-eight years，the Kelantan state government officially lifted the ban on Mak Young theater，paving the way for coexistence of traditional culture and Islam，which is of great significance to the protection of intangible cultural heritages throughout Malaysia.
