Abstract:In 2019，the political situation in Peru was turbulent，conflict between government and congress deepened，Vizcarra announced that the congress had been dissolved，the new congress seemed more fragmented. The economic growth slowed down，the fiscal deficit had been reduced，and the central bank of Peru had cut interest rate twice during the year，which resulted in credit growth，but the macro fundamentals had a good performance. In the social aspect，the poverty rate declined，but the labor market situation deteriorated slightly，and social instability factors still existed. In terms of diplomacy，Peru signed the Memorandum of Understanding “the Belt and Road” Initiative with China. Besides，Peru had actively contributed for regional integration.
